Sculptural canopy which marks the entrance to a city fire/medic station. Composed to compliment the building roof forms and ‘reach-out’ to the community in a protective-reactive gesture.

Market Square Stage Doors, Downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Functional and decorative these doors provide access to equipment vaults that are below a granite clad performance stage in a heavily trafficked city park.
Crane Building, Strip District, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Sculptural steel ‘flying wing’ that marks the entrance of a renovated warehouse building. The steel plate is suspended from a rod that is anchored to the building’s concrete frame. The horizontal pipe stiffens the plate and channels rainwater while the vertical pipe is a downspout.

Sculptural canopy which marks the exterior entrance to a CNC-machine technology training school. Folded plate form is through bolted and attached to the brick masonry wall of the building.
