The rough framing for the Uphill House in Hazelwood started this Tuesday and is largely complete by week’s end. The crew erected a floor each day. The roof is more complex and will take a little more time. Where there was an open foundation there is now a building. It was exciting to see it take shape so quickly. Some precepts were confirmed: proportions matter, craftsmanship exists and wood is good.
