After patiently waiting for approval from the City, work began in mid-November. First up was site grading for the parking area and the construction of a dry-stack wall. By December work on the house started with removing the vinyl siding and revealing the still intact Insulbrick facing. The existing windows were removed and the original openings restored, freeing the interior spaces. Still a bit fore-lorn, the house is coming back with the underlying geometry and proportions ennobling an otherwise very humble structure.
